Signature Guarantee Services

A Signature Guarantee is a verification used to confirm that a member’s signature on certain financial documents is valid and authorized. It’s most often required when selling, transferring, or redeeming securities such as stocks, bonds, or mutual funds.

When It’s Needed

•     Transferring or selling securities
•     Changing ownership on investment accounts
•     Gifting securities
•     Handling securities after the death of an account owner

Service Availability

We offer Signature Guarantee services to established members. Because only two staff members are authorized to provide this service, please contact us before visiting so we can ensure one of them is available.

•     Valid, unexpired government‑issued photo ID

•     Any supporting proof of ownership or authority

How to Order Your Checks

Members can complete their order in just a few minutes.

  2. You’ll be taken to our trusted checkordering partner’s secure website.
  3. Enter your UGEFCU routing number, account number, and starting check number (for reorders).
  4. Choose your preferred check style and quantity.
  5. Confirm your shipping address and submit your order.

 

What You’ll Need

•      Your UGEFCU routing number

•      Your checking account number

•      Your starting check number (for reorders)

•      A current mailing address on file

These details ensure your checks are printed accurately and delivered safely.

 

Important Information for Members

  • First check orders must be placed through the credit union so we can verify your account details.
  • If you have recently changed your address, please contact us before ordering so we can update your account.
  • Members with full direct deposit of Social Security or a pension may qualify for free checks. Contact us to confirm eligibility before placing an order online.
  • If you are unsure which account number to use, our staff is happy to help.
